One of the people I went with had gluten allergies. Service staff were polite and helpful to recommend gluten-free options (they do have quite a variety). While bread was served for the rest of us, one of the staff noted that he was not able to consume those and took initiative to get gluten-free bread for him.
Raw tuna carpaccio was tasty and refreshing, fried calamari was good too, the batter was light and crunchy (not gluten-free). Cheese platter was interesting, they explained about the different cheeses and pairings with the condiments. Loved the roasted codfish, it had a slight crispy exterior balanced with silky tender flesh.
For dessert, yuzu sherbet had a tinge of bitterness (not as sour as expected). The chocolate Black Forest Cake (Foresta Nera) was really good, and again service was great - told the service staff that I was sharing the cake with another person and they actually portioned it when serving, individually plated for us!
