Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Restaurant was freezing cold. Waiter started off a little rough, he immediately called over a manager when I mentioned I had a gluten allergy, and the manager seemed to know nothing, asking about if I could have oil and herbs and such. I had already looked at their menu online to determine what was gluten free and what was safe, manager did not seem to know what was gluten free and what wasn’t, or even what gluten was. Waiter got better, he even brought me prepackaged salad dressing since he said the salad dressing and croutons were right next to each other in the kitchen. Food was good but the salmon and broccoli were swimming in oil. Overall okay experience, wasn’t great but wasn’t terrible.

Usually love it here- but I have celiac disease and it’s very severe. I get gluten free pasta and i have never had an issue, but tonight I went and asked for gluten free pasta and I was served regular and unknowingly consumed it. Me and my husband had to leave because I was getting sick. they sent us home with another plate for me and they did the exact same thing with rotini that was not gluten free (it looks almost identical). The waitress put gluten free on the order both times, we saw it on the receipt. The first time i was not upset because it was just a mistake. But then when I got home and found the mistake a second time I was upset. To reiterate it is a severe problem and I have been sick all night.
