Oz Kafe

We just hosted our parents 50th Anniversary in their private lounge area - it went so smoothly, the food was delicious, service was spectacular and our young children even loved the restaurant. They even had many gluten free options. We would no doubt make a return soon. Thanks again.

More people need to know how amazing they are. Part of me doesn't want to write this review because I don't want everyone to suddenly know about my favourite restaurant in this city and make it impossible for me to get reservations, but they deserve some hype. I don't understand how they aren't on the top 100 list, I go to all of the Ottawa spots, and even a few of the Montreal restaurants that place on the 100, and Oz Kafe is still my favourite--food, service and ambiance are all excellent. Their dishes are well balanced, consistent, flavourful and hearty. We never leave hungry, and they accommodate dietary restrictions without any fuss (gluten-free). Also, they make their own ice cream and you can buy a pint--and you should.
