I bought a gluten free grain loaf and also Irish potato bread from the stand at the Wollongong Chilli Fair. The grain loaf? Phenomenal, It had a hearty texture and a mild nutty flavour. Then there was the gluten free potato bread, which was nothing short of divine. I had it in the fridge for a couple of days. Toasted it for breakfast and it tasted better than when first bought. It soaked up the butter and stayed soft without crumbling or falling apart. Paddy the Baker proved that gluten-free can be both wholesome and indulgent. Now I need to go to Ireland.
