I had a great mid morning brunch at Saltie Dog today, coffee was superb and my crepe was perfection! I also found the service excellent and the atmosphere enjoyably casual. Reasonable prices too. I would go there every day if I was a local, it was easily the food highlight of my trip to the NSW South Coast.

This pub is incredibly friendly! We felt so welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious, and I was thrilled to find their menu is mostly gluten-free. I even got to enjoy a schnitzel for the first time in years! Definitely worth the trip from Sydney.

Love this place!! Came here for a meal with family last Friday night. The space is beautifully designed, the staff were fantastic, so friendly and absolutely take pride in their restaurant. The sticky date lamb was incredible, highly recommend. Lots of gluten free and dairy free also on the menu which is great as we had a ceoliac with us. Thanks guys, will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved our dinner at the Avalon, the food was divine, the lamb my mother in law and I had was so tender and my father in law loved his salmon and my husband the chicken. Service was also great, they looked after us very well, making sure my GF food was coeliac safe. My in-laws loved the quirkiness of the decor and it was very warm and cosy. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening thank you.

Had never been before, but was taken here for my birthday. As I have Celiac disease, this restaurant stood out due to it's extensive GF menu options. All I can say is it far exceeded my expectations. Food was fantastic (huge servings and delicious) and staff incredibly attentive and friendly. Superb all around Also, really liked the decor (martial art posters on the walls) Will definitely be back.

The Runaway Spoon has new owners & new staff; has been totally renovated - new tables & everything. Pleasant surprise & modern looking. One thing I don’t like about the new arrangements, is the seating around the tables. You are squashed together with very little or no elbow room due to the position of table legs. There were 8 of us & the four people at the ends, didn’t have a proper length of table in front of them. the table was too short. The food is good & plentiful, they have kept most of the menu as it was from the previous owners with some improvements. Everyone enjoyed the lunch, the only negative about the food was …… too much - the steak sandwich & hamburgers, but😋. Some of the food can be turned into Gluten free options + several GF meals. Two of us are GF. It’s great for groups for everyone can pay for their own meals individually. Saves a lot of headaches at the end.

The burgers here are always excellent, juicy patty and soft buns. Fries were so crispy and soft on the inside with a good amount of seasoning. They also have a wide range of drink selections from beers on tap to cocktails. Also great for coeliacs and gluten free diets as they do the fries separately and have gluten free buns available. Great feed 10/10

Quite delicious. If you get the set menu, portions seem a bit small at first but by the end, you’re stuffed. Nothing super ground breaking, just modern Middle Eastern fusion done well and presented beautifully. Sat outside and the bar table is a bit unstable, plus the ground is sloped. A bit awkward to deal with but not terrible. Plenty of gluten free options and well communicated. Nothing that stood out as a must have again but still a solid choice for an upmarket meal out.

We ordered the gluten free Marg and that was really yummy. Great pizza considering gluten free can we average sometimes. Nice atmosphere a little heating would be nice outside, dog friendly which is away awesom.

Had a reservation Sunday afternoon at lunch for 4 people, it was very empty and quiet which was nice, yet we felt very rushed by the waitress. The man at the counter when we paid was kind, but could not say the same for others. The food was delicious, but was taken before I was finished. We were not offered a drink menu. One of us had celiac disease and did not feel like it was taken seriously. The waitress was unfortunately impolite when we talked to her. I was on crutches and did feel accommodated, which was good. I have been here many times before and it was amazing, but the service was disappointing. I’ll be back for the food thats for sure!🙂

I walked into Barnett’s Bakery expecting the same disappointment I’ve had at every other bakery—thinking I wouldn’t be able to enjoy a pie because I’m coeliac. But to my absolute surprise, I finally found a bakery that caters to people like me! I had the gluten-free butter chicken pie, and it was absolutely amazing. The pastry was perfect, and the filling was delicious. On top of that, the service was fantastic—the guy behind the counter was super friendly and made the experience even better. If you’re gluten-free and craving a proper bakery pie, this is the place to go!

We discovered Hello Auntie somewhat by accident - but, what a find! The food was so very interesting (and delicious) - really fresh new takes on some classic Asian/fusion fare. The service was great (perhaps a little more confidence and volume would have aided - but we got there). We booked a somewhat late sitting, but glad we did as the restaurant was still very busy when we arrived. There's a great vibe about the place, buzzing but not overwhelmingly loud... which is especially surprising given the amount of exposed brick. Really good options for those needing to eat vegetarian and/or gluten free - we did one of the banquet menus, and it was all gluten free! I would have no hesitation in recommending Hello Auntie to anyone and everyone!

Absolutely fantastic pizza shop! I can’t recommend this place enough! They offer a great range of delicious pizzas, with options to suit everyone’s tastes – from classic favorites to creative combinations. One of the highlights for me is their gluten-free bases, available in both small and large sizes. It’s so nice to see such inclusivity for dietary needs without compromising on flavor or texture.

Cannot rate highly enough..be it for gluten free meals, non dietary options, this place is seriously amazing. Restaurant quality cafe, beautiful surroundings and food with so much flavour. My only disappointment was that we didn’t find this place sooner on our holiday… Absolutely recommended…do not miss this one if in the area.

My favourite cafe in all of Australia! I come here all the time and food, vibes, and service never disappoint. The smoothies are heaven and the soba noodle salad ... yuuum must try. Lots of vegan and gluten free options too + dog friendly :)

My son who is Coeliac struggles to eat out. Rushi was amazing. Most dishes are gluten free or can be prepared gluten free and the kitchen is very careful. We enjoyed 2 dishes which we shared and they were both amazing. Thanks Rushi!
