The Sherwood Hotel

Pretty blown away by the food here. I’ve never had gluten free beer battered fish before, and it was amazing, so this was a definite highlight for a coeliac. Good cocktails and wine. Our group of 10 were all happy with their choices, food came quickly and it’s a nice chill atmosphere. Definitely recommend, especially for other gluten free folk. Thank you!

I organised a reunion of former workmates from the 90s. The booking was made very easy by the friendly staff, and the pamphlet about functions provided good advice about food options. I ordered several platters to accommodate different dietary requirements. The gluten vegan platter was a huge hit, as were the cheese, meats and dips options. The venue was fantastic. I booked the back of the Hotel with a large table near the verandah, a light and airy space. We were mostly separate from other patrons, with plenty of room to mingle around. The feedback from everyone was that the venue and food were great.
