Papi's Mexican Restaurant and Bar

What started out as a not so good service, was turned in to a good one. My daughter has celiac, and I ordered a gluten free dinner to go. When I arrived home, there was flour tortillas in her meal. I called the restaurant back, talked to the manager Gali. She apologized and hand delivered her a new meal. I can’t thank Gali enough for caring about the service and my daughter condition enough to offer correction. Papi’s, great choice as a manager. Gali, keep up the great work.

Unbelievably great food! My wife and I easily have not had Mexican food this good since we left Austin Texas back 2016. I can only speak for the chicken fajitas but holy hell they blew my mind. Absolutely perfect flavor. They came out sizzling like they were cooked by flavor dragon in the back kitchen. I always get fajitas if it’s my first time eating at a Mexican place because it’s typically on every menu. So if they are as good as they were then I’m certain the rest of the menu is amazing. As a gluten free feather gut I have not had churros in 15 years. They have gluten free churros that absolutely blew my mind. Amazing experience at this place. The wait staff are great. Very attentive and easy to work with. Tip them well. The only drawback is this exact restaurant isn’t in our home town back in Iowa. It’s worth making the pilgrimage here without a doubt. Come support these amazing people.

Don’t waste your time!! Absolutely terrible with customer service! Have cancelled my order 3 times and food is just ok. Spend your money somewhere else. Do not recommend even if you are gluten free better options for Mexican other than this so called restaurant!
