Patisserie du Soleil Bakery Cafe

It's a nice place to sit and eat. Pastries are appealing. Unfortunately we had a very negative experience due to celiac. Our server was very rushed and abrupt. They serve gluten friendly foods but we were likely served gluten wrap accidentally. We were told it is gluten free wrap. Both my daughters who have celiac were violently sick most of the evening, vomiting multiple times. I appreciate that unintentional mistakes like these can happen, but it does come with quite a discomfort for people with allergies. Hopefully this will allow an opportunity to be more careful.

Coffee menu is a tiny sheet of paper at the till rather than an easily visible sign. Signage on outdoor tables says "don't seat yourself" which seems unfriendly compared to "please allow us to seat you", or "please see staff to be seated," or something of that nature. No coffee list on menu either, not sure why. Server did not offer us our bill, so we sat there waiting for it. Finally went in for it and were told "Yeah, everyone's confused about that" like it was our fault for being too dumb to ask for our bill? Food looked great, but sadly i couldn't try it as i am celiac. No options other than a bowl of fruit for me. I won't go back

Great Bakery, I often stop by to get croissants, baked goods, or loafs. They offer gluten free banana bread loafs for $14 that is quite good. They're typically very busy and if you come in the afternoon, chances are they've sold out of some of their items.
