Place is a cute, very small. I don't get the hype, must just be the location. The food, I'm sorry to say, is very bad! The chicken burger is advertised as a chicken breast. It comes as fatty chunks of dark meat and skin. Gross! The service is slow. The gluten free baking is nice. Overall needs a lot of improvement but there's potential.
Great little place. Warm, bright, and inviting. Gluten free options - tater tots are gf but have fryer cross contamination, so breakfast sides you can sub gf bread and have a side salad, fruit, tomatoes etc. Nice vegetarian options too!
Gluten free items are what you expect, a bit dry but filled with love. The service was incredible and if you go during the weekends there’s artist playing music and having a great time while you can enjoy hot chocolate and play some games.
The muffins are better than they look. Let me clarify... the coffee caramel (?) muffin was awesome! It didn't look like much. Good Americano, with crema (notable). Gluten free options. This place receives a lot of praise.
Great store, as usual. I hadn't been there in years and since I can't have gluten now (boo!) I didn't know what I'd find for me. I found biscotti, pasta and gnocchi and a couple of other things. Score!
What a great find! The art on the walls is so fun and the seating feels trendy yet cozy. The Grizzly Chai was on point and so was the Spanish coffee. Can't wait to go back for more gluten free treats too.
I went here with my gf today, and the place is very cute and antique style :)
Staff is friendly 🔥 highly recommended 🙌 PLUS THERE ARE SEVERAL GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS!! WE LOVE IT
I am so happy I stumbled across this place today. The owner is a true gem of a human. I could have stayed and talked to her all day.
I didn't want Coffee and she suggested a dandelion root latte which was very good and earthy. I also tried her gluten free carrot cake which may have been the best carrot cake I've had, gluten free or not. She sweetens things just enough, not too much. I also got some Thai soup to go and it was so extremely flavorful. She makes the broth from scratch. You can tell everything she does is with love and care.
What a great place! The food was excellent, delicious homemade soup, and the BLT was absolutely perfect, the best vegan 'bacon' I have ever tried. I needed gluten free and the bread was so good as well. Super nice, friendly owners and staff. Also such a warm and cozy space. Would highly recommend, I wish it wasn't across town from us, but will definitely make it a preferred destination!
The DIY bottomless coffee gets you up and moving and the food is amazing (huge portions). The gluten free Eggs Benedict was enough for two of us to share. If you're expecting to be catered to, go somewhere else but if you want private conversations, delicious food and the ability to get your own coffee and water, this is your place!
Will definitely be back!

Great Bakery, I often stop by to get croissants, baked goods, or loafs.
They offer gluten free banana bread loafs for $14 that is quite good.
They're typically very busy and if you come in the afternoon, chances are they've sold out of some of their items.
This wonderful Cafe has Gluten-free items and marvelous healthy soup! And they helped me with an order as I am wheelchair bound (thank you, Hannah and staff!) I will be a regular customer!
Fpr the chill coffee crowd. Its a smaller place but its cozy atmosphere invites you to sit and chill for a while. There are good desserts for the gluten free as well as regular. The teas a lovely and aromatic and their staff is nice. A place to go if you just want to sit and chill, with a friend or by yourself.
Parking is a natural challenge by the fact that its in Kensington, nut the walk to the cafe is worth it even on the cold days.
Was excited to try this place while floating down the river, but it was a major letdown. Cold sausage roll in plastic wrap,(who does that?!), should be kept in a warmer oven. Ordered a gluten free roll, was supposed to be cheese but had pepperoni which wasn’t any good for a vegetarian. I’ll be looking forward to some competition for this place.
Very good coffee, good selection of baked goods including soem gluten-free. The saff are polite, warm, engaged and mature. Good service and good coffee for the win!
Beautiful locally owned and operated cafe that has something for all tastes and ages. All the treats are made in house - they move about 10m total, from the oven to where they're plated - and Crystie (yes, there is a legit Crystie) makes sure to have awesome vegan and gluten free options too. I'll find any excuse to introduce friends, colleagues, and clients to this local treasure. Well done, Crystie!
I have to work in the neighborhood for the next 5 months and I'm so grateful for this little restaurant to be so close by.
They have so many options if you are gluten and dairy free and food items are modifiable which means I can have a great meal.
I've had a few sandwiches, the coffee, a latte and their London Fog. All have been very good.
Can't wait to dine in one day. Thanks so much for having options and friendly staff!
The best coffee in Calgary. But this is not the best part, oh no, wait till you try their gluten-free muffins. Simply delicious. Beautiful, warm and welcoming atmosphere. They also made extra sure the kids' hot chocolate drinks wasn't too hot. Thank you!
They make a very yummy chai tea latte, though the caramel macchiato can be hit or miss. Still very nice to support local and they have some great gluten free options. UPDATE: Went in today for a caramel macchiato and was rather disappointed in the service today. The lady behind the counter while making my drink was taking customers dirty dishes then going back to touch my cup then grabbing more dirty dishes then touched my lid and cup. I'm not sure if she was having a off day but i sanitized my cup and lid after as it didn't seem like she was being very covid cautious.
I had the Sandi and it was a great flavour combination! Also, the man who served us was so attentive and went out of his way to govern good service. My friend had a gluten free sandwich and apparently it was amazing . The bread for GF was actually normal sized. 10/10
My favooooouriteeeeee coffee shop in all of Calgary. Coziest place and best for working. It’s like my hidden gem 🥹✨ love their gluten free granola bars so much!!! I get one each week
Huge variety including lots of gluten free.
Husband had the almond croissant, said it was the best he's ever had.
I had the almond orange cake which was the best gluten free cake I have ever had.
I had a latte, husband had a cappuccino, both were incredible.
We sat in on a rainy day and it was absolutely magical. Can't wait to go back and sit on the patio when it's not raining.
Has the spicy chicken panini. Bun was delicious. Food came out hot and fast. Gf got the turkey pesto wrap gluten free. She loved it! Will for sure be back. Only issue is small store front, if it was busy may not have a place to sit.
Came here to treat myself for birthday brunch. Everything on the breakfast menu is a must try - and frankly, I don't care how much gluten hates me...the brioche bun is worth bloating for. Get the bacon and avocado on your sandwich. You'll thank me later.
Simply wonderful. The food and atmosphere is very inviting. I had the coconut Thai soup. And a gluten free sandwich. Both were delicious. The portions were very generous. I recommend that everyone should stop by at least once
Our team at the Faculty of Nursing contacted Elisa about catering breakfast, snacks, and lunch for a 65 person event on campus. The faculty had a good outcome with previous events catered by them so we opted to use them for this larger multi-meal event. Our attendee numbers shifted as we led up to event. This Good Earth Coffeehouse team was quick to respond to our communications and were flexible and accommodating, especially as we approached the mid-60's for attendees (we expected 50 people originally). They were also reassuring regarding their accommodation for our guests with dietary restrictions. This gave additional confidence in their delivery for the event.
On the day of the event, Max and Serhii arrived at their pre-determine to set up the coffee/tea station and breakfast. They provided clearly labelled (names and dietary restrictions) for our attendees with special diets, myself being one of them. They were kind, professional, and prepared. Max and Serhii were a hard working crew, swift in their set up and teardown of the food/coffee/tea stations.
We are grateful to this team for their contributions in a seamless planning, delivery, and deliciously catered (and safe for dietary needs) 65-person event. We highly recommend them for large and small catered events.
I added photos of our attendees enjoying the event, satisfied with coffee, food, and knowledge (I did not take photos of the food set-up unfortunately). I added a picture of the special diet labels on my breakfast bar (so tasty!) and salad, which was inside this labelled bag. As a Celiac, it is such a relief to have clear communication and labelling on food items.

This lovely little cafe is unassuming from the outside, but is sweet and lovely inside. The food is incredible and also has gluten-free/friendly options. There’s a certificate up on the wall in German that someone went to German pastry school, and it shows in the delicious food. The best part is it’s very affordable!! HIGHLY recommend this hidden treasure!
This coffee shop is absolutely amazing. Not only is the atmosphere really cute, the food selection and coffee/tea selection is also fantastic. Larissa made us some lovely London Fog's, and the gluten free options are to die for!
