Pho Phd Vietnamese Restaurant

Disappointed… we eat at Cabramatta and Canley vale regularly and this wasn’t at that standard. The squid was more like a Chinese restaurant and overcooked. The pork and prawn in the pancake was overcooked the actual pancake seemed deep fried- it was chewy. It’s a pity a the staff were great- as were the vast gluten free options.it was also at the high end pricewise. I would say this was a western focussed asian fusion restaurant more than traditional Vietnamese

My review is not regarding the quality or taste of the food, but the incorrect labelling of allergens on the menu. I chose to eat here because they have GF options labelled, however I ordered the Beef Pho and have become very sick with gluten-related illness (I’m coeliac). I specially confirmed with the waitress that the dish would be gluten free so am pretty upset that this is the case. Please check all your ingredients to ensure this doesn’t happen to other customers. It’s a shame because the pho is delicious!
