Pizza Express

Big thank you to the staff at Pizza Express Eastbourne for my daughters 8th birthday party today. She had a great time with her friends and the chef was fantastic with the children. They also kindly catered for two children with very specific dietary requirements which was very much appreciated. They were even able to make a base with everyone else so they didn’t feel left out and then swapped this out for a gluten free base with their own selection of toppings. The pizzas they all made were huge and they had a really generous amount of toppings to use. As well as that they had dough balls whilst waiting, ice cream at the end and they were all given boxes so they could take the rest of their pizza home. Thank you for great service and a great birthday experience.

We specifically went here as its one of the few places with good gluten free options. We had our vouchers ready but turns out they had no gluten free doughballs or pizza bases. Or a lot of other things either... We had a 33% off pizza voucher which kf course was useless since we couldn't order pizza. Paid for some mediocre pasta, tried to ask our server for a discount and she couldn't under stand a word we said. We had a free dessert voucher but at this stage we were too afraid to ask if there was any if the GF desserts available. Abysmal experience all round and really disappointed.
