Here me out; I NEVER write reviews using half eaten/reheated/paper-plate-photographed food... but this, THIS pizza deserves a heartfelt no-matter-the-physical-documentation-available review.
(I do apologize for not photographing sooner in the consuming process, but to be honest, I didn't have unrealistically high expectations for this particular pizza joint. The existing reviews were "so-so," and the menu didn't depict anything truly special. Clearly, I was misled.)
We ordered this pizza today purely out of convenience, not realizing it was going to be some of the best local-to-Tennessee-pizza we'd ever eat. I've been gluten-free (by choice, not celiac) for 4 years now, and typically, pizza is an extremely underwhelming experience for me, so I didn't expect much else this time.
Surprisingly, not only did their cauliflower crust have an actual appealing flavor (š) it was perfectly stacked with FLAVORFUL toppings and mounded with the perfect amount of cheese (for cheese lovers, like ME) to make it an acceptable "REAL" pizza!
(I think it was called "The Hoss"?. *Pepperoni, Italian sausage (which had an amazing flavor and I highly recommend!!), and extra cheese. Then I added onions... because'duh'.)
It was a lovely UNEXPECTED surprise, and I wish we would have taken a chance on them much sooner than we did.
