Pizza Punks Glasgow

Its not often I am able to eat glutenfree, vegan pizza but Pizza Punks made a great one.

The restaurant has a nice style and athmosphere to it but lacks authenticity. Service was also good, there were some communication issues between the waiters and they seemed extremely hurried even though we visited early on a Monday evening when the restaurant wasn’t very busy. But otherwise the staff was very nice and helpful. A big minus was my gluten free pizza. I do not expect it to be the same as a pizza with a normal base, but if I am paying extra I would like it to at least match the size of the pizza my friend received. My gluten free pizza was considerably smaller and also a bit over cooked, as the base was dry and crispy. The sauce and toppings were very nice but not nice enough to make up for the rest.

The food was delicious, we got three gluten free vegan pizzas to share, the meatball marinara was a perfect balance of flavours, the vegan cheese on all the pizzas was one of the best we’ve had and the gluten free base was lovely and soft, but wow the vegan pepperoni is the best I’ve ever had, really good menu and staff are on it with the menu choices and allergies/dietary requirements so very helpful, cocktails and mocktails are delish and very instagramable and shoutout to our server Mya for being so cheery and friendly as well as super helpful with the menu, good vibes and good music too…really nice place
