They were about to make us DIE and they didn't even apologize but justified themselves by saying that the person calling, who has been allergic to milk since childhood (not lactose but milk), had said Lactose-free!!!
We placed an order on Deliveroo specifying on delivery everything that we also communicated on the phone.
In fact, we called to specify a serious allergy to milk (not lactose), so we agreed to order a pizza on Deliveroo at the same price as the one communicated on the phone: gluten-free and rice mozzarella..
The pizza arrives and we realize that the mozzarella had a different consistency than that of rice (to which we are used) so we don't eat it, we call and ask for information. They confirmed to us that it was lactose free and not rice as we had asked. Without asking anything, they begin to justify themselves by claiming that it was us who said Lactose-free.....but those who have been allergic all their lives obviously cannot communicate something wrong, especially since we also wrote a note in Deliveroo.
To cut it short, they decide to send us another pizza but ask us for the supplement..... Without any excuse! Without realizing that an allergy is not diet or taste....one DIES from it.
In the end we didn't eat, because the other pizza never arrived
