Edit to add: The owner personally called to apologize and will be editing the menu to say that they are unable to guarantee their cauliflower crust is not gluten free. The call and effort was greatly appreciated.
I called ahead to see if the gluten free crust was prepared separately and was told it was safe. I’m very glad that we went in person, as the gluten free pizza was baked and prepared on the same surface as the regular pizzas. While my boyfriend enjoyed his regular pizza and I would absolutely recommend Don Luca’s for those without allergies, I would not recommend for anyone with a gluten allergy or sensitivity. The young men working were nice but their assurances over the phone that their gluten free pizzas were prepared separately was definitely not the case. They were kind enough to refund my pizza when I explained that I could not eat it.
