They have some of the best pizza around. The thin crust pizza has a light puffy crackery edge, which means being able to enjoy all the flavor of a delicious pizza without the heaviness (even standard "thin" and gluten-free pizzas are heavier). The service is always great and the staff are friendly. And don't forget to try the cocktails (my fave is the G&T with Monkey 27 and red peppercorn. The antipasto plate, the lasagna and the Caesar salad are delish. Come hungry and be prepared to take home yummy leftovers!

The pizza crust was like a cracker: brittle and dry. They need to work on developing the gluten in their dough. The caesar salad was good.

Hadn’t tried this place because there are lots of solid pizza spots in Phinney/Greenwood, but saw they had won some awards via Seattle Times and decided to stumble in. I grew up in the area and frequented Perche No Pasta & Vino at their lower Queen Anne and Greenlake locations before they retired but considered them the gold standard for Italian here. Oh boy, this place is so overpriced and overrated. For a pizza, a salad and wine, we spent over $100. Items on the menu here include a nearly $40 ‘seafood pizza’ with ‘spicy sauce’ and a salad that includes blueberries, oranges, olives, Gorgonzola AND honey mustard. 🥴 We asked if we could have the salad without the honey mustard and the waitress seemed genuinely confused. But hey, we wanted that spicy sauce, which came for an additional $5 and a Jackson Pollock splash of (mild) vodka sauce on what could have been a beautifully quartered Quattro stagioni pizza, with a crust that crumbled like a Ritz cracker upon first bite. Somehow this pizza was so sloppy I got sauce on my PANTS. Good news - the vibe here is nice and Italian-feeling (aside from Coco Melon playing on the TV) and we did enjoy a bottle of Lambrusco that reminded us of our trip to Italy. If you’re seeking a pizza in the area— Cornuto - for Neapolitan Ridge - for thin crust / New Yorkish style Razzis - for your kid’s bday party or your gluten and dairy-free friends Sunny Hill - for Detroit style + crispy cheese edge Windy City - deep dish La Rocca - we tried!! 😔 but we won’t be back.
