Pizzeria Ristorante Il Vecchio Muro

We found ourselves here on April 25th to see Sulmona and they recommended this place to us which we wholeheartedly recommend to everyone, because we had a complete and assorted traditional house starter, the first course was excellent and tasty old mule tagliatelle, a mixed platter of meat and kebabs of both meat and liver, the house dessert was good and also for celiacs. Clean environment, quick waiters and average price around 30 euros each. Truly recommended for a visit to Sulmona, an easily accessible center and a very welcoming place.

I didn't like it very much because in the end you eat inside and the place is not very large, a bit narrow. Also going to the bathroom is not easy because the access is narrow and it is close to the kitchen with the coming and going of the staff and the tables with people eating. I also didn't like all the variations that are requested and that end up on the bill (for example "celiac bread", "penne variation" in addition to the cover charge). There is also no possibility of being able to drink only a glass of wine because you have to take a quarter of wine on tap as a minimum.

Meat dinner, all very good, especially the kebabs. Service attentive but not fast. Also excellent for celiacs and lactose intolerants. Good value for money. They say the dessert was also good, too bad there isn't anything for celiacs.
