A place that I also recommend for people with celiac disease. Staff informed on the topic and attentive to contamination. Unfortunately the choice of gluten-free starters is limited, as they only have french fries. However, overall it is a good place where you can eat gluten-free in peace. I was very impressed by the vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free varieties. We all ate heartily despite the various intolerances. There was meticulous attention to everyone, there was no distinction between a gluten free dish and the one from the "classic" menu. I have rarely noticed this aspect in other places, in fact you often have to make do. Compliments! The first courses (pumpkin timbale) and desserts (dark chocolate mousse with currants) were very tasty. The mixed starter (5 courses) did not particularly impress me. Next time I will come back to try the meat as it looked really inviting and tender.

As a celiac I had a really great time. Roberto, the chef was very kind and attentive to the smallest details. The gluten-free frittorino was really amazing and the sandwich was no less. Highly recommended, I will definitely go back again.

We have been looking for a gluten free pizza that resembles the normal one for a long time, here we found a delicious pizza that is very reminiscent of the normal one. We found ourselves here on April 25th to see Sulmona and they recommended this place to us which we wholeheartedly recommend to everyone, because we had a complete and assorted traditional house starter, the first course was excellent and tasty old mule tagliatelle, a mixed platter of meat and kebabs of both meat and liver, the house dessert was good and also for celiacs. Clean environment, quick waiters and average price around 30 euros each. Truly recommended for a visit to Sulmona, an easily accessible center and a very welcoming place.

We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday in this restaurant with the whole family, we were 16 people including one person with celiac disease who was able to eat the same menu provided for everyone, they are really very attentive to gluten-free. Good gluten free pizza, friendly staff. When you book you have to indicate which gluten free pizza you want. It is better to make sure they have lactose-free mozzarella, we have to eat strictly 0.01% but here it is not always found, they have 0.1%, for us it is a problem. The bill should be checked, the changes are not always included in the order. The service and attention to the customer could be improved a little because the pizza is excellent.

Mamitas turned out to be a very pleasant discovery. The quality of the raw materials is indisputable: very fresh fish, enhanced by a cuisine that knows how to enhance the flavor with balance and creativity. Even though it was a Sunday and the restaurant was very busy, the service was quick and efficient. One aspect that we particularly appreciated was the attention given to dietary needs: my partner, who is celiac, was able to enjoy almost all the dishes without problems, and those that were not compatible were promptly adapted. I was at this place yesterday, after I had heard about it because I have 2 celiac daughters, they make gluten-free pizza here. The place is nice, large, with a small parking lot outside. The normal pizza is good, with long-leavened dough, well-topped and cooked in a non-wood oven. You can improve on the gluten-free: we asked for margheritas with sausages and we were told that they don't have sausages (one of the children's favorite foods). We then asked for the addition of cooked ham on a pizza, with the supplement of 2 euros and 50 (for half a slice of ham)! The draft beer that was served to me wasn't great, while for the girls we asked for a Coke and we were served a similar one. For 3 pizzas, 2 of which were gluten-free (a normal capricciosa, a Margherita and a Margherita with cooked ham) 1 Coke, 1 still water and 2 small draft beers we received a bill of €51.50. Despite the high prices, I recommend it on regular pizza, but the gluten free ones aren't that great!

We arrived at the restaurant at 6:40 PM. Online it says they open at 5:00 PM, but we were turned away and told they don’t open until 7:30 PM. We had walked a longer distance to get there, so this was quite disappointing. We came back at 7:30 PM. My partner had a regular pizza, which was excellent – full of flavor with a great, crispy crust! I had a gluten-free pizza, unfortunately the worst I’ve ever had in Italy. :( The tomato sauce tasted like plain, unseasoned canned tomatoes – no salt, no herbs, no flavor at all. The crust was completely soggy from the watery sauce. I let my partner try it and he also found it barely edible. Really disappointing. To be fair, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the regular pizza showed that the kitchen can deliver great quality – just not with the gluten-free option, sadly.

Not recommended for celiacs, my wife felt sick even though they assured us she could be at ease. I reply to the owner's response: are you a doctor? You wrote the idiocy and I advise you to be more polite with your customers as well as to learn more about celiac disease. If you had apologized you would have made a better impression. Celiacs who read and not only will know how to judge you. I reply again: your manners say a lot about you so I will not waste any more time with you. I strongly advise you to learn more about celiac disease because people's health is at stake. Never see you again or hear from you again. P.S. Speaking of ignorance: they say celiacs "What happens in the case of gluten ingestion in a celiac person on a gluten-free diet? The clinical manifestations following the ingestion of gluten in subjects affected by celiac disease are extremely variable. Compare with what you wrote and, if you think so, you can refresh your knowledge instead of correcting the blunders.
