An overall disappointing afternoon tea experience for a gluten-free person. -Supermarket bought cakes (clearly from Sainsbury's) on gluten free afternoon tea plate. - 'cheese parcel alternative' for me was just a piece of white toast and cheese, not an equal alternative. -£5 extra for the pleasure of a GF option which as noted, felt like poor effort and poor quality Unfortunately Plush under delivered and over charged for what I got here. Positives: Coffee and scone were good and clearly homemade Summary: please make better gluten free options and don't buy supermarket cakes or biscuits for the afternoon tea, it is unfair to charge extra for this lack of service.

Very lovely unique cafe in the heart of York. We received a lovely welcome and our festive afternoon teas were lovely. The gluten free options were great, there was nothing missing off the afternoon tea.
