This was amazing to visit for ceoliac disease, they were very knowledgeable and even have a dedicated gf frier for their chips :)

Had afternoon tea, two versions one for me and a gluten free version for my other half, the food was very good apart from the gluten free scone, but they replaced it with an alternative option

Such a delicious hearty meal, thank you, and a dedicated gluten free menu which I always love. Benjamin our waiter was great - attentive, warm and funny. Great spot!

We went at the beginning of April, it was 2 adults and a toddler. We arrived for lunch time without booking and we just had to wait a few minutes. Needed gluten free options and they were happy to accomodate, advising us whether something might have través of gluten. I had the Persian eggs and my partner the chicken shawarma, toddler needed gluten free option. Everything was delicious and the place quite lovely. I would definitely recomend.

Very very good ice cream, quite cool atmosphere and very pleasant service. For allergies such as gluten-free, they are attentive but it is not perfect (they do not change the spoon for example, also the gluten-free cakes are mixed with the others in the displays).
A buzzing spot known for its gourmet vegetarian breakfast and homemade bread, offering a no-frills yet satisfying dining experience.

Staff were great, accommodated a party of 6, always busy and buzzing. They accommodate gluten free which is great (bake their own bread) - no hash browns unfortunately which is a little strange for a classic brunch spot. Don't expect anything flash, just good honest grub.
A bustling spot with a cool vibe, unique breakfast options, and a fun music selection that makes it a must-visit in York!

The guy put depeche mode - just can’t get enough on the duke box. My son was wearing his Celtic top! Fantastic service 💚🍀🤍 HH!
I have coeliac disease, I feel great no reaction to this food.
Second time having an amazing afternoon tea delivered from Love to eat. The gluten free option is just as delicious and so much effort to give a variety of bread and cakes which is rare!
Lovely people to deal with , highly recommend
Great value spot with excellent service where your only challenge will be choosing from their varied menu!

Service was quick and polite but they advertise as caters for gluten free but what this really meant was a menu the same as the normal one but with almost everything crossed of as not gluten free, leaving a couple of cakes and a fruit salad.
A charming spot in York with a cozy vibe, perfect for festive gatherings and a delightful selection of unique options.

An overall disappointing afternoon tea experience for a gluten-free person.
-Supermarket bought cakes (clearly from Sainsbury's) on gluten free afternoon tea plate.
- 'cheese parcel alternative' for me was just a piece of white toast and cheese, not an equal alternative.
-£5 extra for the pleasure of a GF option which as noted, felt like poor effort and poor quality
Unfortunately Plush under delivered and over charged for what I got here.
Positives: Coffee and scone were good and clearly homemade
Summary: please make better gluten free options and don't buy supermarket cakes or biscuits for the afternoon tea, it is unfair to charge extra for this lack of service.
A bustling spot with a solid breakfast selection, friendly staff, and a few treats for various diets, though coffee could be better.

Gluten free (non coeliac) breakfast We get tired of looking for gluten free focused places and thought we would try these guys after struggling to find a park at a local cafe that likely offered a better quality coffee. We decided to just 'grab something' from this cafe but we're delighted to see a full English breakfast and smaller options for eat in. No specific gluten free menu but offered vegan and vegetarian options. However the staff were happy to look up the allergens on their menu
Note to GF - no gluten free bread offered, all sausages contain gluten however the chef was happy to add another egg and some extra bits and pieces to make up for the sausage and bread. It was still a very full breakfast and filling.
These guys were very busy but the ladies in the restaurant were so happy to help and doing a great job- considering. Line up at the till even if you want just coffee as this seemed to create confusion for some patrons and listen out for your table number.
The coffee was pretty average, otherwise I would have given 5 stars but we also have a fussy, Australian palate for coffee and honestly didn't expect a lot from a supermarket cafe. :-) good find.
The best sandwich shop I have been to in the world. Amazing, affordable prices and MASSIVE portion sizes. The actual produce is tasty and excellent quality. On top of that, the staff are very hospitable people and cater for gluten free. I'm addicted.
We had a picnic for six (including one gluten free) for a boat trip. The food was amazing and beautifully packed up with everything we needed. The gluten free member of our party has never been so well catered for. I cannot fault the food or the service and communications were excellent. I will be back to explore the Delicatessen when I’m next in York.

visited this cafe around 11 a.m. on a Sunday and only had to wait five minutes to be seated! Their blueberry and lemon scones are hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. They offer a great variety of scones and cakes, with gluten-free options too, which was a nice touch. I’m still thinking about those scones! I also had the white chocolate matcha, which was fantastic and complemented the food perfectly. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back!
A dog-friendly haven with amazing decor and a menu brimming with delightful options, perfect for a cozy meal and catching up with friends.

The cafe is AMAZING. I am gluten-free and my friend is vegetarian and we were spoilt for choice. The chai and matcha were both so good, and the hot honey halloumi hash brown stack was possibly the best brunch I've ever had. The cafe is aesthetically lovely and the dog picture walls are so adorable. The staff are lovely too, so friendly and approachable - this place is a solid 10/10.
