Lovely staff who were very attentive. They gave advice and tasters on wine when I was unsure which to get. The Pheasants Rillets was decent. We shared a coute de bouef and chips with chimichurri and peppercorn sauce. Steak was cooked perfectly and chips were lovely. Chimicurri sauce was a bit bland, peppercorn was lovely. We had baked Alaska for dessert which was sadly disappointing, the sponge we think, was gluten free and was a poor texture and flavour. The icecream and meringue were good but the caramel sauce didn’t taste of much.
Would go back again for the steak, chips and wine and the service was to be commended.
