Porters Plainland Hotel

Attended a catered function during a workshop in Gatton. The regular meals (bread rolls, mains and dessert) looked tasty though small portions. Unfortunately, all special dietary requests (gluten free, vegetarian, dairy free) were solved with one very uninspiring dish: gf pasta with a tasteless tomato sauce.

Great in-between pub. From Brisbane to Toowoomba. Meals are absolutely HUGE with plenty of gluten free options. Would be 5 stars if the kids room was a hit but it's small, and only has gaming consoles. Witnessing heaps of families and a packed tiny room... it would be worth the investment to have a bigger kids area, or playground. But appreciate its just one of those things, hits the mark in every other area. Staff are friendly and helpful. Gets really busy so booking in advance recommended. Request a take home container for your left overs. Bathrooms clean and accessible to everyone.
