Porters Plainland Hotel

Great spot to stop where travelling west. Great varied menu with gluten free and vegan options! Lots of inside and outside seating, great vibe- excellent wine list. Portion sizes large! And tasty food! Service was top notch. Was always attended to by staff. Couldn’t fault them. And was given a takeaway box for my dinner to eat tomorrow :) they took it away and packed it for me. Such polite and attentive staff. Will be back!!! (Can’t comment on rooms as didn’t stay)

Had to return my GFO meal as they just omitted any part that contained gluten. If you don't have a substitute for the glutenous item, eg. g-free bread, it's not really an option, but an opt-out-on situation, isn't it? There were other good reasons for the return, so quite disappointed to leave hungry, considering the distance I came for something I had enjoyed there before.

Attended a catered function during a workshop in Gatton. The regular meals (bread rolls, mains and dessert) looked tasty though small portions. Unfortunately, all special dietary requests (gluten free, vegetarian, dairy free) were solved with one very uninspiring dish: gf pasta with a tasteless tomato sauce.
