I have loved all the gluten-free options. If you do routes through the mountains and have that intolerance, this is your place.

We arrived by chance looking for a gluten-free place in the area. It is rare to find a regular ration bar with an option for celiacs. We ordered croquettes, a sausage board, a combination plate and a cheesecake. Good price and everything homemade. Excellent treatment.

Quite a discovery, we were referred from the rural house where we were staying, and we met Virginia and her family. Family restaurant, homemade food, wide variety of food, also gluten-free. From experience the fried cheeses, the torreznos and the croquettes... Scandalous, special mention to the cheek ones. Which surprised me a lot. We're going to be here for a few days and we'll be back for sure because I had more dishes left to taste🤤 The wonderful place is not only themed like a cinema, but it still is. It has an attached movie theater still in use. One of the largest that I have seen in a town outside the capital. Effort. Love and care in all the details. A cinema that was created in 1973, by Virginia's parents and that they maintain with great care. If you're lucky, they still do monologues, show a movie, and occasionally use it as a multipurpose room. Being able to dine listening to movie soundtracks while one is projected on the restaurant screen... For that reason alone it is worth making a trip to Robledo de Chavela. We are back!!! What was promised is a debt, this time for dinner. A crispy chicken burger... What size to say? Well, you have to eat it with a knife and fork 🤤 because it is XXL. And potatoes with cheese and bacon to share!!! On the screen in the living room, images of films and soundtracks, an evening of scandal. Thanks for a fantastic evening!!!
