Red Bridge Cooking School, Restaurant, and Villa - Hoi An Riverside

Booked a market tour and cooking class via our travel agent. Red Bridge were fantastic. A great market tour, followed by a boat ride and cooking class. Instructions were easy to follow, we received recipe booklets to take home, and help was on hand to assist with our own cooking. Flavours were so fresh and tasted wonderful. They catered for gluten free, vegetarian, seafood allergy and peanut allergy on our tour. As a family with a 16 year old boy, i think he enjoyed it the most, but we all had a great time.

Fantastic way to spend the day! Started with a delicious iced coffee at the meeting cafe, where we met Luna our chef/ guide. We were driven to the Tra Que herb “ farm” where Luna pointed out numerous plants, their uses and also how the farmers work. After delicious lemon basil tea we visited a market where we bought supplies ( noodles, meat, vegetables)- a fascinating place ( not great if you are vegetarian!). ( note- the school cater for many dietary requirements incl vegetarian and gluten free- just mention the market as meat/fish section might be unpleasant for some, but I’m sure you could bypass that part). We then went to the Red Bridge cooking school- a delightful place where we cooked a number of dishes ( pho, rice noodles, banana flower chicken salad, prawns in banana leaf and clay pot fish). Throughout we were provided with cold drinks ( water, juice , beers) & we had more than enough food to eat. We were provided with printed recipes and pens to take any notes. Afterwards we enjoyed a swim in the pool then a boat ride down the river back to town. A bit of walking but minibus was air conditioned. Only 5 in our group today. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. ( we did the whole day class- 0800-1500). Thankyou Luna & team
