Edit to add:
Good Egg has reached out to me and has graciously taken my feedback as an opportunity to learn. I am blown away by their quick response to my review and their desire to continually train to make their restaurant a safe place to dine. 5 stars for this attention to good service. Thank you!
We enjoyed our date night at Red Prime. The staff was very accommodating to my severe reaction to gluten and the menu was well marked. As much as I hate to criticize, I think it's important to mention that our waitress (who was kind and wonderful to us) put my leftover filet in with my husband's and his had a sauce that was not gluten free. Her service was still great but I'm really disappointed about this because I made my dietary needs known multiple times in our experience, including before ordering and asked for it to be marked with my order. I didn't even think to ask them to box separately because it didn't occur to me they would put my meal in with his instead of separate boxes.. I actually found it a little odd that that's standard. Anyways, I won't be able to eat my leftovers because of the cross contact. After spending well over $200 on dinner for two, it's a huge bummer to not be able to eat the other half of my filet. Her service was spectacular besides this.
The only other thing I wish had been different about our experience was where we were sat. We made a reservation for 6:45 and the dining room was pretty open at the time, but we were sat right next to two people on a business dinner who were very loud. I know the staff cant help the volume of guests but I thought it was odd that out of all the seats available we had to sit so close (I mean I was like two feet away since we shared the same booth). Our reservation did mark it was a special occasion dinner (for our anniversary), so that did bring down the experience for us.
I will definitely return for the food, and I would recommend Red PrimeSteak to others. I appreciate the kitchens safety measures for my dietary needs and the level of service.
