Restaurant Terramar "Mauricio's Bar"

I explained to the waiter that I have celiac disease, and I was worried about cross-contamination. I also showed him some thing I had in Spanish that explained with celiac was and asking the restaurant if they were able to prepare something without cross-contamination. He showed me the taco section of the menu and stated that they were made with corn tortillas that were homemade separately than the flour ones. He spoke to the kitchen and confirmed that they would be able to prepare my food in an area that would not be cross contaminated with gluten items. I had chicken tacos with the beans. I omitted the rice because the waiter said that would be cross contaminated because they're made where gluten was present. Everything turned out just fine.
