Excellent place. Most of the menu is gluten-free. We loved the place; they were super friendly, and the homemade chicken croquettes were incredible. Thank you so much for treating us so well and serving us such delicious food!

Birthday celebration with final disappointment. We had lunch with 6 people to celebrate a birthday, imagine the total amount of the bill with starters, paellas, desserts and drinks: we spent a lot. The reason for going there is that it is the only restaurant in Calella accredited by the celiac association of Catalonia. And celiac people are very loyal in restaurants, we always return where we have been treated well. The thing is that at the end, after having desserts and coffees and about to pay (I edit the review with this sentence to clarify that we had already finished the meal when the waiter performed his fake performance), the waiter offers us some syrups and insists on the tribute that has been going on for years. We understand, as is courtesy in most restaurants, that he is inviting the house. We only ordered two (lucky again) and what a surprise when they brought us the bill and charged us €10 for two pomace syrups with ice... We were shocked. We asked for explanations and they simply said that they had to pay. We were stunned, after a good meal, to end this unpleasant feeling. The small details are what make the difference and, unfortunately, we will not return or recommend the restaurant. It is very ugly to act in this way, we felt that we had been taken advantage of and a lot of shame for others. In short, we are very sad about how it all ended and disappointed, a shame. We did not end up satisfied with the experience because the overall rating is negative. The review is no longer so much to warn you to be careful because the shots they offer you, then charge for them (which is already a crappy thing to do), but to leave a record of the restaurant's character, the lack of care they show in customer service with actions like this. Response to the restaurant: if you consider that the action is correct, you are within your rights, but that makes you customers, like us and also potential ones. A little humility always helps and in this case, you blame us for the misunderstanding. For 10€ that you did not assume now you have bad publicity. It is not a very smart strategy. But you are within your rights to think that you have acted well.

We went last Friday for lunch, we are gluten intolerant and to find a restaurant with an almost 100% gluten free menu is a wonder. The food is very good, even for non-coeliacs, the spectacular seafood and meat paella and the lamb too, with more than enough quantities. Crazy desserts. Apart from the food, they have a staff of 10 who make you feel very welcome. Super correct quality/price.
