I give 5 stars, because there are no more! 100% gluten-free restaurant, the only one accredited by Celiacs de Catalunya in Calella de Palafrugell. I had dinner with my partner on Saturday and it was quite an experience. The place is beautiful, super intimate and decorated with great care. The best of all is that my partner is not celiac and did not notice at all that the food was gluten-free! Of course, like all the local food, everything was gluten-free: The homemade chicken and spinach croquettes were delicious and super juicy, the Andalusian-style battered squid were super crispy, the fideuá was spectacular with a cuttlefish that melted in your mouth because it was so tender, and the golden highlight: THE SMOKED RICE OF THE SENYORET, another level! The smoky flavor, the point of the rice, the very tender octopus... A success! For dessert we ordered the homemade tiramisu and the homemade cheesecake, delicious too. Without a doubt, a super top place in the heart of the Costa Brava! We will repeat this summer without a doubt!

The place by the sea is idyllic. The interior is very cozy and the food is very good. Many offers for celiacs, which is also to be appreciated.

Expect a lively ambiance with unique service and a diverse array of tapas, though be prepared for a wait to snag a table.

Very well-known tapas and pintxos place. We have been in August and it was very busy, there is no reservation, you have to wait in line for them to take your order and then they send you an SMS when your table is ready. For dinner we waited for around 1 hour and 45 minutes. There is a variety of hot and cold pinchos; Waiters regularly come out offering hot dishes for the tables. In the end you pay according to the types of "sticks" you have been consuming. You have a "Takeaway" option from the website but you have to order before 7 p.m. and you already indicate the pick-up time, without queues. As for intolerant people, comment on it since there are options, even if you want a specific skewer that does not contain gluten, they will make it with gluten-free bread.

We really enjoyed dinner, with fresh seafood, friendly, attentive and friendly service, with Gluten controlled for celiacs (they had excellent Rosemary and Olive bread!). Great variety of desserts and all delicious, like the famous Recuit de Ca la Nuri. Already thinking about going back and trying the rice dishes as well.

It is the best restaurant in Emporda. Beyond the location being absolutely magical, the raw materials and the treatment they give to them are unique. Some simple mussels can be a delicatessen dish. They treat the sea urchin a lot and well. Spectacular fish, always very fresh and very well cooked. It has a gluten-free fryer so they make you sonsos, anchovies or Andalusian squid with cornstarch flour for celiacs, better than 99% of the ones I have tried for non-celiacs. Oysters, razor clams, red shrimp is a festival. For a few years now the Uruguayan touch has been noticeable and they also play very well with meat. Delicious desserts and all homemade. I would put some more wine on the menu, missing some great white to put the icing on the cake. Juan and Sonia provide a close and professional treatment that makes the experience a 10.
