Restaurante La Vieja Iruña

We went out for lunch as a large group, and one of our guests was celiac. We repeatedly assured them that they could accommodate the person with the intolerance. They led us to believe they dealt with this intolerance frequently, so we decided to trust them. At the end of the meal, the person with the intolerance became ill, vomiting continuously, and we decided to go to the restaurant to inform them of what had happened. The manager on duty at the time vehemently denied any involvement, even though the person hadn't eaten or drunk anything up to that point. We will not trust them again with celiac patients, as they failed to honor their promises. People's health is very important; we can all make mistakes, and admitting and apologizing would have been much more humble than denying it. The food for everyone else was delicious, and the staff was friendly. It's a shame about everything else that happened.

Excellent food and service. Definitely 100% recommended. I have many allergies and intolerances (gluten, lactose, egg, herbs...) and I had no problems at all; they were incredibly accommodating and understanding. So grateful!! If I return to Pamplona, ​​I know exactly where to go for a meal!!

A very nice and centrally located place. The food is delicious and they have gluten-free options!
