Rick’s Cafe Boatyard has been on our list of date-night restaurants to check out for a long time. We finally made it and we’re happy we did. Even with some construction work happening, the atmosphere was nice. They had several gluten-free options for us to choose from. We chose bacon wrapped scallops and shrimp tacos (see the photos), and it was all delicious. Our server was great… very attentive, friendly and helpful.

We haven't been to Rick's in years. It was a great return trip. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us decide between several choices. My wife has a gluten allergy and she made sure to take that into account. The parking and construction at the main entrance was a little inconvenient with the rain but it is what it is.
