Rizzo's Malabar Inn

NOT CELIAC SAFE My son had a sports banquet recently. I called in advance to ask about celiac protocols. I was assured that they take it very seriously. The have protocols in place to ensure safe handling and safety of their guests. I call BS on this. My son and I spent the next 48 in pure misery. My daughter also has celiac disease, but she did not attend the banquet and she is fine. So this assures me that the damage was done by Rizzo's. We will bring our own food next time we have an event there. Not worth taking the chance.

Rizzos is always a great experience. The food is awesome, the service is fantastic, the place itself is clean and well kept. If you're in the area, travelling through or coming from somewhere else, Rizzos is well worth the trip. One of the best Italian restaurants around. On a side note, they have some decent gluten free options such as the gluten free pasta or gluten free cheese ravioli.
