I have celiac so finding good Gluten Free pizza, fried fish sandwich & desserts is a prize!!! Little E’s has a great patio for warm weather but is a little small inside. The waitress was VERY busy and seemed to be the only waitstaff working when we were there. She was pleasant and worked hard to get our food to us.
If you want the perfect GF experience in Greensburg, El Diablo is it! Their food is amazing and I always know that it’s safe. They are so creative with their menu and their staff is well educated on allergy protocol. A must-visit when you’re in town!
Give your waitstaff Josh a raise he is fantastic! Clear, concise, and quick. Also the first server to inform me of gluten cross contamination with the bacon. But also a wonderful waiter.
Fantastic meal, amazing gluten free options and super friendly wait staff. Service was quick and friendly and the meal was wonderful. It's not easy to find good GF restaurants, especially when you're from out of town, but this was a pleasant surprise!
They have a good gluten friendly menu. We have had a lot of success with the GF burger buns. They do not have a dedicated fryer but if they aren’t too busy in the kitchen they are usually willing to run tater tots through their oven, wrapped in foil. Their chili is GF and the bar has a lot of safe items.
We eat at the bar. The staff is always really nice and very helpful. I have celiac disease so I have to watch what I can eat. They have a lot of stuff I can eat.
I've been going here for 4 years and it was great but then went down hill. I also have celiacs and make it known, this place is NOT not safe all of the sudden for celiacs. I got very sick from there Monday and I'm still dealing with horrible stomach issues from the gluten.
Cashier also couldn't count money.
Gluten Free! They are so good about my celiac disease! Have never had an issue. Everything is clearly marked and the food tastes GREAT! Love their Pad Thai and Thai fried rice!
We called ahead of time to see if they were capable of accommodating a Gluten Allergy. They said yes and that they had GF Soy Sauce that could be used on the meat and that it could be made separately away from the Hibachi tables to avoid cross contamination.
Drive 40 minutes to get there only for the server to tell us that white rice was my only option to eat.
Our chef was fun and energetic, everyone else's food was decent, just slightly upset that we drove all that way to only eat an overpriced bowl of rice.
It's a good place for others, just not those with allergies.
NOT CELIAC SAFE
My son had a sports banquet recently. I called in advance to ask about celiac protocols. I was assured that they take it very seriously. The have protocols in place to ensure safe handling and safety of their guests.
I call BS on this. My son and I spent the next 48 in pure misery. My daughter also has celiac disease, but she did not attend the banquet and she is fine. So this assures me that the damage was done by Rizzo's. We will bring our own food next time we have an event there. Not worth taking the chance.
This is my husband and my 3rd visit and we have absolutely loved everything we have tried. Both vegetarian and not. The chirpy turkey sandwich is absolutely amazing. I suggest a salad instead of chips because it comes with actually good greens (not iceberg) and good veggies. The omelets are stellar!!! They have vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and normal dishes. Definitely recommend a visit
We decided to try this gem out. I can't say enough about the food! Holly was extremely helpful with food for my gluten sensitivity. We had the appetizer platter, chicken kabobs, and salmon. The tahini sauce and garlic sauce were great! Definitely a place we will return!
They recently catered for my wedding of about 100 people. The menu was customized and fit the needs of many gluten free people at the wedding. The Swedish meatballs were a huge hit! Highly recommend.
Was very helpful with food choices for Celiac and was upfront with what was contaminated and what was safe to eat. Not all restaurants are that honest so it was nice.
The food was great tasting and our waiter was top notch. He knew everything about the food and taking care of our table and needs. They even have gluten free food there. We highly recommend this restaurant and we will be back to eat. We all enjoyed being there.
Had to go home for my dad's funeral my dad passed away October 28th home is Pennsylvania so I had to eat at Primanti's a few times good service great gluten-free bun that was the best but now I'm in my second home back out in California Primanti's is the greatest
Jioios has always been a favorite of mine when I am back home. This time it's was very disappointing.
The gluten-free pizza is lacking flavor and overcooked. Not good.
The normal pizza is always cooked to perfection. Sweet crust, thin, and layer with a ton of toppings.
Our service was lacking. Ivory seemed to have an attitude the whole time we were there. We waited multiple times for drinks and was standing back in the back on her phone while still waiting for drinks.
We got our checks and waited for her to take payment, except she never took out payment. Another server took and processed the payment.
Great specials on Sunday, BOGO pasta for $14.99.
Brisket with sauce excellent!.
Mac n cheese not bad
Garden salad with home made dressing gluten free...music on thursday and nice local cozy atmosphere...cannot wait to try outdoor patio!
My mom and I have been wanting to try this place for awhile. I was excited because their gluten free options sounded delicious, and it is always difficult to find somewhere to eat on a Sunday. I dropped my mom off at the door because it was pouring down rain, and she grabbed us two seats at the bar. I went and parked the car and joined her. She told me that no one had acknowledged her existence. I sat there with her for another 3-5 minutes with the two bartenders actively averting our gaze. Ok, they’re busy, so, since we are both in the food service industry, we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Finally, after about 8 minutes of sitting there, the one bartender angrily throws napkins and menus in front of us, doesn’t even say anything to us, and then takes another person’s drink order, makes the drink and then asks us what we want. I asked for a water and a gluten free menu. He disappeared for about ten minutes, and, after not being acknowledged by anyone else or receiving any drinks, we decide to leave. It smelled wonderful, but we had such an absolutely terrible experience, I doubt that we will be back.
Such a great Tea/Coffee Shop. No Gluten Free food options, but they said they hope to add Gluten Free soon.
Lots of relaxing areas to sit and work or meet with others.
This place looks great and the chairs were very comfortable, however that’s where our experience peeked. The restaurant was not crowded and we ordered from the Lunch Special menu. We waited 90min for our food. During that time the waiter came by once to refill our water pitcher. My son never did get his sprite refill. My daughter in law is gluten free so she ordered a mushroom cheese burger with a gluten free bun. The burger came out plain with an obviously floured bun. So on the 2nd try it came out with the correct bun but it was a plain hamburger with some lettuce. No condiments. My soup was cold though the flavor was not bad. (No exaggeration here.) And our pastas had been sitting long enough that the fettuccine sauce had hardened on the top. We were not impolite and were compensated for our inconvenience. Others parties just walked out after waiting over an hour for their food. Hopefully the management will figure out the problem. This place has potential, but I’m not sure I would return after our experience. The prices would have been 20-30/person if we had not ordered off the special menu.
Everything was awesome. My only issue is that I am old and the music was too loud. In all seriousness it was a great night out with friends. Our waitress was absolutely phenomenal and super accommodating to those in our party with gluten issues. The food was delicious, arrived at perfectly timed intervals, was warm and delicious. For a chain restaurant, it was pretty damn good and we will definitely be back.
This restaurant is wonderful and the women who run it are incredibly sweet! When I called to make reservations and place our orders in advance, I let them know I couldn't eat gluten, onions, or garlic (I follow a low FODMAP diet) and they were so accommodating, offering to make me a baked potato in place of the pasta and bringing me my own special salad without me even asking for any substitutions. And the food (made fresh from scratch) was all delicious. Highly recommend!
Wonderful fast food for celiac or gluten-free customers. Let them know when you order that you want the burger in a bowl due to gluten allergy and they'll keep everything separate from your food. They also change gloves often. The fries are amazing and order a bigger size, they reheat well in the oven!
I ordered a gluten free sub. I watched the surfaces being cleaned and my sub going on down the line. Thank you for your dedication in providing me with a safe and delicious sandwich to enjoy.
Nathan was AWESOME! I have a gluten allergy and he cooked my food with caution and care. I tend to shy away from hibachi because of fear with contamination. Many thanks and I hope you’re the chef next time!
I'm so glad Greensburg has a Vietnamese restaurant! My favorites are fresh summer rolls, vegetarian pho, and lychee boba. Authentic and quality. Good gluten free options. I'm a frequent customer.
