We were celebrating a promotion/anniversary/30th birthday, and the staff knew that. It was on the booking and it was mentioned as we were seated.
The food was spectacular, as expected.
But the service was poor. Sub-standard by a long shot. Never once checked on drinks. No water refills. Not even a jug on the table. A considerable amount of time had passed before anyone offered to clear our table, and only did so after we flagged someone down. And one thing that really should no longer happen in this day and age is staff automatically placing the bill and credit machine in front of the man. My partner was very offended as she was the one paying. Just put the bill and machine in the middle of the table to avoid any insult all together. And to top it off, there was a “gluten allergy” attached to the booking, and we were both brought bread and butter to start.
Food is fantastic. But you get better service at Starbucks.
