Roka Akor - Houston

I chose Roka Akor for my birthday dinner and Roka Akor did not disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised to see 40- and 20-year port on their menu and I enjoyed a glass of each. I ordered the Japanese styled fried chicken - chefs kiss! We shared the brussel sprouts - this ranks amongst the best I've had. My husband ordered steak and loved it so much he finished it and ordered *another* meat dish (which he also enjoyed). Our waiter was very detail oriented, taking the time to make sure my gluten sensitivity was covered and being swift in her service but not at all in a "I'm sooo busy" kind of way. More so in a "I'm here and I want to give you space to enjoy yourselves". I like how the restaurant looks - clean and almost minimilist. Parking is very easy as well. Overall, we will be back in the near future!
