Rosso Pomodoro Pizzeria Review My experience at Rosso Pomodoro was overall positive, but with some room for improvement, especially in terms of handling allergen requests. We arrived at 7:40 PM and, after ordering, I asked for a gluten-free and lactose-free pizza, stressing the need to pay close attention to contamination, given the presence of other allergens. The pizza arrived at 8:30 PM, but unfortunately it contained pieces of artichokes, an ingredient that was neither indicated nor requested and that I could not eat. The staff, it must be said, was extremely kind and professional: they apologized for the mistake and immediately took the pizza back to the kitchen, preparing another correct one. Once served, the pizza was truly excellent, demonstrating the quality of the ingredients and the care in preparation. However, episodes like this highlight the importance of greater attention in managing food allergies, as similar errors can have serious consequences for those with intolerances or allergies. I ate very well and appreciated the friendly service, but I recommend that the pizzeria improve its food safety processes to make the experience perfect for everyone.

Pizza was ok. Service was terrible. Was spoken too really rudely by staff was with my brother and mum who had previously eaten so they just got a drink and I ordered a pizza. Could hear them making fun of it in the kitchen , perhaps they thought we were sharing one pizza, which was not the case (I have a gluten allergy so few fast takeaway options were available). Handed me the bill and wanted me to pay a service charge for three people when only I ate, the staff member then reluctantly removed it. Don’t recommend coming here.
