Copenhagen Brighton is my go-to for a pot of tea, a sweet that's gluten free and a read of the paper. And they have really lovely staff who remember your order if you are a regular.

I love coming here when I come to the beach. The range is great and the staff are usually pretty nice and patient. If I could change one thing, I’d ask for one scoop to be designated to the peanut ice cream when they have it so I wouldn’t have to worry about my mum’s icecream being contaminated, because of her peanut allergy. They’re good about getting a clean scoop for us though. I’d have to recommend Dutch Choc Chip, Strawberry Delight, Mint Chip Supreme and Cappuccino! My mum loves Rum & Raisin, Baileys’ and Scorched Almond, Salted Caramel and Coconut Rough. The dog treats are super cute and my dogs loved them. I’m looking forward to trying a thickshake at some point! I wish they had more gluten free cakes to offer though.
