Just as wonderful as its sister hotel - the Duke of Brunswick - in the city. Bit of a different atmosphere… fresher, perhaps. Great choice of food, all gluten free. Big serves. Lovely gluten free beer. No oat milk in the coffee machines, therefore safe for the really sensitive Coeliacs (me included).
Kotesh made 2 amazing cakes for me - a raspberry and dark chocolate cake and a croquembouche. My coeliac friends were so excited that they could eat both. Ordering and collection were both easy. Reasonably priced for delicious professional cakes in Canberra.
The absolute best place for gluten free food and extras like bread, cakes etc. Extremely friendly and helpful owner and staff. As someone who is a Celiac I cannot recommend them highly enough. My favourite place to shop. Thank you so much to pavi and pourash for your wonderful much needed service💞
The Service was very efficient and excellent the food was extremely good and delicious and I love how they offer a gluten free version for those who need it and very clear with allergies
Best atmosphere out on the balcony, staff are friendly and super helpful. Food is beautiful, everything we ordered was delicious. Service was prompt, can’t fault this place. Very quirky and very easy to find something for a family of 5 with multiple food restrictions (2 x vegans, 2 x Dairy Free, 1 x Gluten Free)
Heidelberg did our wedding cake for us and the service and care taken to ensure we received exactly what we wanted was incredible! Not to mention the cake was absolutely delicious. Our non-gluten free eating guests couldn’t tell the difference! It made it feel much more special cutting a cake with my new husband that we could both eat! We will be getting all of our future birthday/celebration cakes from here too!
DoughBalls Pizza Place, near the beach, is the perfect spot for great pizza and must-try cheese and garlic dough balls. Friendly staff, chill vibe, and gluten-free options make it a winner!

If you’re after a sweet treat that hits all the right notes, OMG Donuts is a must. These aren’t your average donuts—each one is handcrafted, fresh, and ridiculously good. The texture is spot-on: light, fluffy, and with just the right amount of bite. You can tell they’re made with care.
The flavour range is impressive—classic cinnamon, rich choc hazelnut, zingy raspberry, and their signature salted caramel (which should honestly come with a warning label: dangerously addictive). And the best part? They’re vegan and gluten-free, but you’d never guess. No weird aftertaste, no dryness—just pure donut bliss.
Service is always warm and friendly, and they pack everything beautifully. Whether you’re grabbing a box to share or sneaking in a solo treat (no judgement!), OMG Donuts never disappoint.
Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates a great donut done right. Definitely worth the hype.
Happened across this place by chance and are glad we did! Food was 10/10, incredible flavours and yes, the fried chicken is gluten free - so many options for coeliacs!
The service was friendly and attentive. Shout out to Ollie and the rest of the team for taking care of us :)
Fat bikers guide to fine dining
A lovely little pub with a great little authentic country bar. Be great if you could get serverd a drink at it . But to be fair I didn't wait that long when you compair it to the time waited for our lunch.. well over an hour. When it finally did arrive one snitty was missing the toppings and considering it was the gluten free crumbing it really needed something to cover the incredible ummmm 'texture' shall we say. You know that texture you get from a quality microwaved snitty from mcCain? My tbone came out cooked perfectly rare as ordered which was nice but please remember steak needs seasoning before going on the grill. And the veg, how do you boil carrots in water till they are dry ? Freezer burn perhaps? Some other complaints worth mentioning were the broccoli smelling slightly of fish, tastless gravy and mash that was poorly well......mashed. having said all this it's good to see a family owned local pub doing all day dining and catering for those with gluten intolerance (and let's face it , gluten free food sux)
We had paella, lamb salad, saganaki prawns, pan-fried veal, affogato, and tiramisu. The paella was a touch salty, but the lamb salad totally made up for it—it was spot on! I also loved that they had plenty of gluten-free options, which made the whole experience even better for me!”
Celebrated my nephew's baptism and the food was delicious. Great they were able to cater for those with coeliac's. The GF tiramisu is a must. Beautiful venue and atmosphere for a special day.
The best Gelato you will ever have, this is true

Oh wow, the flavor so natural and beautiful
Gluten free cone anzibg, they cater well for coeliacs
Highly recommended
"Relish is our family,s.favourite food joints, offers quite delightful and varied menus, from breakfast through desserts, including notable vegan and gluten-free choices. The friendly service, pleasant lakeside setting, and welcoming atmosphere contribute to its appeal as a valued local spot and my
Yummmy chicken n mushroom pasta 😋
Possibly the best gluten free joint around, IMO. I have coeliac disease and I'm so sensitive to the point where even a trace of gluten will guarantee me a spot at the hospital for the next 4 hours.
The menu is broad and caters to most allergens. For a gluten free lunch, the cost is not extreme. A lot of places will prey on those with life threatening food allergies and charge exorbitant amounts.
The food was amazing! The staff were super friendly and best of all the were coeliac friendly!!! I got the jamacian banana pancakes 1000% recommend! So damn good!
Had my daughter's 21st family dinner on a Saturday night - 14 people - we were looking for something casual, but with good food! We went in about 2 weeks earlier to make a booking - Melina was very accommodating. We had 2 gluten free and 1 severe nut allergy - we were assured there would be no problem & there wasn't. On the night, everything was set up beautifully -we had dropped off cake and a flower arrangement earlier in the day. Our dedicated waitress, Siena, was across all the dietary requirements, so I was able to relax. Drinks, pre-ordered entree platters and main courses chosen from the menu were all delicious, beautifully presented and arrived on time, with Siena checking with me about timing. We didn't feel rushed and were able to have photos and mingle amongst ourselves. We even had a lovely conversation with the charming Carmine, exchanging family stories. Prices were very reasonable and compatible with quality of offering. Highly recommend this lovely, family run business.
I am well acquainted with Adelaide’s selection of gelatos and can confidently report that Ovo is the best overall. I have easily purchased a litre of gelato a week and have not be disappointed.
The quality of the product, the variety of flavours (which change regularly) and the value of money is hard to beat.
Being coeliac, it can be challenging to find desserts option that don’t compromise on flavour. Do yourself a favour and give it a try!
We come here regularly for coffee and breakfast. They are always very quick and the eggs on toast are a great price.
They have separate tongs for gluten free cabinet treats for coeliac safety.
A huge thank you to Eelin and ken at eggless for the amazing gluten-free lemon cheese cake for my daugthers first birthday! it was a hit with everyone, and they all thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend!
This shop in Prospect is the perfect stop when I'm heading to Costco, and the Norwood location is great when I'm going to Aldi. They're both in such convenient & good spots. What makes this place really special is the open baking area where you can actually watch the bagels being made. The gluten free bagels themselves are absolutely delicious- soft, fresh, and full of flavour. I usually rotate between three favorite flavours, and today I went with No.3. It paired perfectly with their nutty almond latte. The coffee also here is surprisingly good.Highly recommend!
This was an amazing experience, the food was absolutely delicious and the spaghett-about it option left everyone stuffed. Our gluten free friends were really well taken care of as well. It would have been nice if our table was cleared throughout the night as we had very little room, but aside from that everyone was stoked
Had the vegan/ gluten-free high tea with a group of friends.
Service was great and staff were lovely.
The food was good, firstly we gor scones with jam, these were absolutely delicious. Then the savoury plate included tofu satay skewers, tofu in pita, a tofu sandwich, and falafels with a sauce. The tofu satay skewers were the stand-out dish, with the falafels a very close second, the tofu pita and sandwich probably needed some more sauce (I dipped them in the remaining satay sauce).
The middle plate had a 'mars bar' raw slice and a small cake. I am not a fam of raw slices so didn't like this one as much, but the other cake was delicious. The top plate was choc brownie and choc cake, these were really nice.
Definitely recommend checking out Mirra for your next high tea.
I'm sorry l don't remember what the cake was called, it looked like a leaf, it had chocolate, mousse, raspberry coulis.
Absolutely delicious, it was vegan and gluten free. I am not vegan or gluten intolerant but you would not even know, it tasted so good
Copenhagen Brighton is my go-to for a pot of tea, a sweet that's gluten free and a read of the paper. And they have really lovely staff who remember your order if you are a regular.
We were greeted friendly from the start by the lovely staff. They answered all my questions and nothing seemed to hard.
Having gluten free options was amazing and made my daughters night. Our dinner was a celebration for my daughters birthday, they even sang Happy Birthday to her.
We will definitely be back with the clean facilities and friendly staff
OMG I'm obsessed!
Brownie Buttercream Cookies are GLUTEN FREE!!
There are a range of different flavours, I've tried Salted Caramel, Nutella, Strawberries & Cream, Honeycomb, Cookies & Cream and Black Forest. Salted Caramel is my favourite so far. It was delicious!!
The cookies are nice and fudgey and the fillings are lovely and creamy. They are perfectly sweet without being sickly.
So disappointed at the level of service received. My family placed an order for pizzas a mixture of GF and normal. Then received a call to say they had ran out of GF bases and as a consequence have to place a whole new order and wait 90 mins. Cancelled our entire order. What a way to make people with coeliac disease feel bad.
