I have celiac disease and I went to this place for breakfast a few weeks ago. There are many gluten-free options on the menu; however, the practice is quite different: while I was waiting for my order, I noticed that there was an employee baking a gluten-free cake in the same area where gluten-containing food is handled. Meanwhile, another employee was taking croissants (with gluten) out of the oven and placing them on the same counter as the cake. The door to the kitchen that handles wheat flour, right next to the area where the employees I observed were, was open the entire time (wheat flour suspended in the air causes contamination to people with gluten-related disorders). It was clear that the handling of at least some of the gluten-free and gluten-containing products takes place in the same space, which is a LIFE-RISK for people with celiac disease and other gluten-related disorders. I felt disrespected as a customer and will not return.
