A
Excellent pastry shop in the center of San Foca. Wide variety of pasticciotti and very good. The spectacular ice cream, with also the possibility of a gluten-free cone and some lactose-free flavours. Recommended for both breakfast and an afternoon break.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but here I feel I have to; we arrived at this place to have breakfast assuming that it was the best equipped for me as I am gluten and lactose intolerant, we enter and sit in the small garden behind, to my request to kindly clean the table I receive a response from the waiter, 'it seems to me cleaned' when it was obviously dirty with croissant crumbs from previous customers, the same waiter arrives after 10 minutes and wipes a corner of the table, just to keep me happy, to order we called the waiters, to my request for gluten-free and lactose-free, I was offered a "gluten-free cereal croissant", given my perplexity, I presume, the owner came to reassure me that it was gluten-free and lactose-free, and to stay calm, I ask what the fillings are and I'm offered a lactose-free pistachio one; the croissant arrives on the SAME plate as the croissant with gluten (from a person who was sitting at the table with me), so much so that the question immediately arose "now how do we distinguish them?", being intolerant and not celiac, I I force myself to eat it without further interfacing with the waiter who seemed to have almost challenged me, obviously the "lactose-free" pistachio cream was the same as the one with lactose, also confirmed by the person present with me who tasted both, and they certainly had same taste and same appearance, plus I eat the “gluten-free and lactose-free” pistachio croissant but not even a trace of pistachio, it seemed empty (obviously afterwards I felt bad considering that OBVIOUSLY there were foods that I underlined several times that I can't eat). Going towards the cash register I take a look at the counter, I notice that the "gluten-free" cereal croissants were in the same pan as the ones with gluten (so they were not simply served together, but I presume also cooked together), the eye then I fall for PACKAGED gluten-free products, including an empty croissant, filled biscuits and muffins that no one had told me about. In conclusion, grumpy and not at all understanding staff, liars and cheaters (from what I have read in other reviews they often do this). BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE
