Salt Block Biscuit Co.

The BEST restaurant I've been to in Dayton! This place goes above and beyond any expectation that I have for any restaurants. The hot tea was served in a French press, they created a house salad for me that was vegan and gluten free, and the rosemary potatoes and the zucchini were so absolutely amazing that I can't wait to order them again soon. You can see the little extra special touches in the pictures like the fact that they bring the fancy teacup with a little plate with a stirring spoon, a glass jar of honey, and the most delicious salad dressing I think I've ever had in my life was served in a glass dessert cup with spoon. I sent a tip to the cook, and I have only done that maybe twice in my entire 46 years. You seriously cannot go wrong here. I am ultra-picky, have lots of allergies, and cannot think of a place I'd rather eat.

Salt Block Biscuit Company is one of my favorite places to eat downtown. Their curry chicken salad is at the top of my list, yet their potatoes are a close second. They can make gluten free biscuits with a day or two notice.
