Sammy's Trattoria

This is the second time we had visited Sammy's Trattoria. The first time, we were extremely happy with the food and service. This time, we were disappointed and concerned. We had expressed specifically if there were gluten free options. A person in our group is allergic to gluten. The waitress let us know and the specific Barilla gluten free noodles were ordered. When the food arrived, the waiter asked, who at the table is gluten free and handed them the supposed gluten free dish. Unfortunately, they did not serve the allergic patron gluten free noodles. The person was very ill for two days. I understand mistakes happen but mistakes like this can have deadly consequences.

We were for a large group dinner. The servers had their hands full with us, but they both were super attentive to me and my gluten free diet restrictions. I felt very well taken care of and appreciated their hustling for our group. Also, the food was very well made. Our group had a wonderful meal and reunion!
