Our dining experience at Savory was elevated not just by the food but by the warm hospitality. We had the pleasure of meeting Patrick, the owner, whose passion for food and dedication to his guests' satisfaction shone through. The staff, following his lead, were exceptionally friendly, making our time here truly outstanding. It's not every day you find a place that feels like home and a team that treats you like family. Mushroom Gyro The Mushroom Gyro at Savory was a flavor-packed treat, a dream for mushroom lovers. The soft flatbread enveloped the succulent roasted mushrooms, heightened by the kick of pepperoncinis. Cooling tzatziki and tangy whipped feta perfectly complemented the mix, with sharp shaved onions and sweet marinated tomatoes adding complexity. A touch of peppery arugula finished it off. Pretty darn tasty! Three Fish Tacos – Gluten free tortillas My wife chooses gluten-free foods when we eat out and we were happy to learn that Savory has a gluten-free tortilla option! It's great that Savory offers gluten-free tortillas, accommodating my wife's dietary choice. The flaky fish paired with the bold chipotle mayo and crunchy cabbage was sublime. While the peach salsa was not my cup of tea, preferring the classic tomato, my wife adored its fruity charm. These tacos are a bold offering that caters to all. * I will note that my wife enjoyed the peach salsa, though I learned that it wasn’t for me. Don’t get me wrong – it’s probably amazing for peach salsa, I just have never branched out from tomato salsa and change is hard for me haha Savory’s Margherita – Gluten free The Margherita pizza is a modern take on a timeless favorite. The robust red sauce and oven-roasted tomatoes offer a deep, concentrated flavor, enhanced by the aromatic torn basil. Creamy, fresh burrata adds a luxurious touch, balanced by a pinch of sea salt and a kick of red pepper flakes. Finished with a drizzle of olive oil on a sweet-potato gluten-free crust, this pizza is a delightful nod to tradition with a contemporary spin. While my wife was enamored with the burrata and unique crust, I enjoyed the new flavors but my heart still leans towards the classic pizza cheeses. That being said, I am super glad I tried something new – I always love learning and trying new things so this was a very positive experience overall even though the cheese wasn’t for me; it was perfect for my wife! Meatza Okay - This was my favorite from today’s flavor adventure! The Meatza pizza was the star of our culinary adventure at "Savory." Laden with a generous assortment of meats, each slice was a testament to the name, rich in savory goodness. The red sauce and cheese blended seamlessly with the meats, supported by a perfectly crisp crust. The Meatza is not just a meal but a savory sensation worthy of the name.
