Honestly pleasantly surprised. I went here with a few friends while staying in Maine for an early dinner. Two of us, myself included, are gluten intolerant so we weren't sure what we could expect. I was shocked to find out that over 75% of the menu had a gluten free option that looked near identical to the regular offerings.
We mostly got gluten free seafood baskets and one person got gluten free onion rings both of which were delicious. The portion sizes are enormous so unless you have a massive appetite, 1 order should be more than enough, I had food for 2 days and only ordered 1 item. Their best items in my humble opinion are the fried haddock and scallops.
Please be aware if you are gluten intolerant or celiac, don't order the soups, they are made with flour. Oh and they do a have gluten free bread option so lobster rolls are an option.
