I had the most amazing dining experience at Shojin Every dish I tried was an absolute delight—bursting with flavors and crafted to perfection.
The Truffle Rock Shroom Tempura on Crispy Rice was beyond delicious—crispy, light, and packed with earthy truffle flavors that melted in your mouth. The Purple Treasure 5.0 was an explosion of flavor, each bite was like a burst of deliciousness that danced on my taste buds. The Rainbow Roll was fresh, vibrant, and so satisfying; it truly hit the spot. also the Truffle “Crab” Crunch Hand Roll—was very yummy
I also fell in love with the Shojin Shiso Gyoza, The crispy, delicate dumplings paired with the accompanying sauce were out of this world, and I could not get enough of it. Every dish had such amazing flavors, and the sauces that came with everything were just phenomenal—each one elevating the dish to a whole new level.
The hot sake was a perfect complement to the meal, rich in flavor and super tasty. I left the restaurant feeling so satisfied and happy, and I can’t wait to return to try the ramen next time!
It’s so rare to find a place that offers such incredible vegan and gluten-free options, especially with the attention they give to allergies. I truly hope more people support this place so they can continue to thrive because their food is absolutely worth celebrating.
The only minor downside was the allergy menu—it was a bit confusing and not as straightforward as I would’ve liked. I had to ask the server a lot of questions to be sure of what I could actually eat, and it was a little tricky that my companion, even though not soy-sensitive, had to stick to the same menu as me. But other than that, everything was just perfect!
I’m so glad I found Shojin and can’t wait to return. It’s a gem that deserves all the support it can get!
