Note: Only writing this to let the owner know in case they aren't aware of the celiac review apps and the recent change. It's otherwise an excellent place with amazing staff and food, hope that it can get resolved for the celiac community. Something has gone wrong with their sourcing of gluten free ingredients. I have celiac and suddenly after incorporating this restaurant into my diet my blood work numbers have exploded upwards. I track my numbers very closely multiple times a year and I've done a lot of elimination and it points pretty heavily towards this place as being the culprit. This also reflects in the reviews for find me gluten free website where people are getting violent reactions in the last year. Hopefully they eventually figure out where the gluten is coming from so that other celiac individuals and I can go back here again as their food is otherwise very tasty. I would recommend them to redo the testing that they once did in 2019 to figure out where the source of the problem is. Thank you

Camino Alto is a special place. Every ingredient is vibrant. You can taste the care and creativity in every dish. They have really fun wines and the staff are very knowledgeable and warm. The baked goods for breakfast are delicious and every dish for dinner is a great choice. Ideal for vegetarians and gluten-free diners as well as omnivores.

I cannot praise them enough!! It is such a relief to know that everything is gluten free but also soooooo delicious!! I love the music and ambiance as well. It is always an amazing meal, even before my gluten issues I would have come here all of the time if I knew. Also... The donut holes will change your life, and the coffee is out of this world! A great gluten-free bakery with good sandwiches. I love Pushkins and this one does not disappoint. They don't have as much food as the other ones or paninis like babes but they still have a pretty good selection of baked goods. It is a very small cute store but there is no seating inside which is not the best in the Sacramento Heat. But I come here often to get baked goods for the house.

401k food and wine bar is a dedicated gluten free restaurant. They have delicious food that is so good my gluten eating husband kept asking if I was sure the food was safe for me. We had the Caesar salad, arugula salad, calamari, chicken and waffles, mini churros, and bread pudding. The servers were delightful, energetic, friendly, and gave great food recommendations. I can’t wait to visit again. It’s such relief to know everything is safe and to have such a great meal.

It was a disappointment because online it states they have gluten free pizza with designated ovens. Not only they did not have it the waitress told us it is not a gluten friendly restaurant and that there is flour flying all over the place. Being celiac I walked out. Not nice at all. Celiac friends go across the street to Acquolina. Great service, atmosphere and gluten free options.

This restaurant is amazing. We went later in the evening and had dinner. It’s such a cool vibe and the food was amazing. I’m celiac and I let the waiter know. He went over the whole menu and all but 2 items on the dinner menu are gluten free or can be made gluten free. He made notes on everything for my allergy. I would highly recommend you give them a try. The only slight downside is the portion sizes are a little on the smaller side so an appetizer is the way to go.

I go here all the time for the sweet plantain bowl so I got it catered to my birthday party ! It was a super easy process and my guests said it was the best food they'd had catered at an event! We had vegan and gluten free people and so it was able to accommodate everyone :)

Incredible bowl of noodles! I have a gluten-free diet so it can be hard to find good pho/ramen. And the photo speaks for itself on how much I liked my bowl of rice noodles! Perfectly cooked and seasoned meat, rich broth, and just the right amount. I loved having the extras on the side so that I could personalize the flavoring. As for the atmosphere, I loved the Disco music softly playing but the chairs were a little uncomfortable.

I was so excited to come here and try this fully gluten free restaurant but me and my boyfriend ended up very disappointed with our experience. When we entered the restaurant we were sat at a table about 1 foot away from another couple in the middle of the room. This felt very strange since there were other tables open but they chose to sit us directly next to another couple, so close that it felt like we were in their conversation. The next issue was the food timing. We waited about 50 minutes for our food to come. The entire dining experience is supposed to be 1 hour and 30 minutes but 50 of that was taken up by waiting. This was extremely frustrating too because we could see couples who got to the restaurant after us getting the same things that we ordered first. Once the food got to our table it was very disappointing. The pasta was overcooked and had a hole going through the middle which made it feel like I was eating a long macaroni noodle with my sausage pasta. We also ordered a ravioli and short rib. The ravioli was so heavy and the sauce on it was so thick we barely could eat it. The short rib was extremely overcooked and dry and not what you would expect for 50 dollars. Another note to add is that this restaurant does not have a bathroom. When you pay for such an expensive meal you hope that the restaurant you go to at least has a bathroom for their customers. But no, customers are expected to walk down to the Main Street and use a communal bathroom with a code. This is not what you would expect for a fine dining restaurant. Overall, I do not recommend coming here. As a celiac, I have had far better pasta from the box. After spending 200 dollars here we feel very disappointed and almost scammed out of our money. Super disappointed with this place and if you are a celiac and seeing this excited that there is a fully gf restaurant near you, please spend your money elsewhere. It is not worth the money or the time.

Great experience all around! Husband has celiac disease so having a dedicated gluten free facility is A DREAM! Biscuits were the highlight. Also had the cinnamon roll and breakfast crepe which were also great! Beautiful and serene atmosphere on the patio. Will be back.

I’ve been here quite a lot, it’s not the best gluten free Ramen I’ve ever had but it is very good. Their best dish for me is their rock shrimp. Completely gluten free and the sushi is very delicious. It is on the more expensive side and it is very small. There are some places to park in the area. Definitely recommend if you want to appease a ramen craving.

When you have celiac or gluten-free problems, you need bakeries to be extremely clean so there is no cross contamination. This bakery is designed for celiac and gluten-free problems. The bakery products are exceptional! If we gave you a cupcake and did not tell you the baked good was gluten-free, you would have no idea they were. That’s how delicious everything is. Thank you♥️

The service was lovely and as someone with coeliac disease, I felt very safe eating here (the server let me know that the original owner’s wife is celiac, and so that made me feel like they would have a good understanding of cross-contamination). The eggs and hashbrowns were just OK and the chicken sausage and the pancake that I had were pretty good.

Great experience. Best tomato soup I’ve ever had. Turkey burger is delicious, and I’m not normally a turkey burger fan. Pearson provided great service. Many healthy options on the menu - gluten free, vegan/vegetarian. Pizzas are tasty and salads are creative. Recommend.

Great spot. -Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING here at Vibe is clean. No meat on premises, but everything is very fresh, organic and gluten free. -Had several meals here while traveling for work, and all have been excellent. -Entire shop meticulously cleaned and well taken care of. -reverse osmosis water fill station in back with cups -Staff very friendly and helpful. 10/10, will gladly go back and go out of the way to do so.

We stopped by this place on a whim on our way back from Lake Tahoe. What a gem of a place! Great service, lovely decor and incredibly delicious gluten free food. I had the peanut curry roast kabocha squash and my husband had the loco moco - both amazing dishes. Recommend everyone to try out this place if you’re in the area.

Crepes are delicious! Great gluten-free and vegetarian option. We eat here every time we come to Monterey and it never disappoints. We were waiting 30 minutes at another breakfast place and they never even brought us water, so we just bailed and came here because we knew we'd get good food fast. Shout out to the zaatar crepe!

My partner and I tried Shojin today and it was incredible. From the amazing customer service, to the delicious sushi rolls, I cant recommend this place enough. The staff were so polite and helpful. I have a gluten allergy, and the staff immediately explained that they are a gluten-free restaurant and even pointed out the other allergy-free options (such as soy-free). We are definitely coming back here soon!

Amazing. I have a lot of allergies/intolerances (gluten, dairy, soy, peanuts), and I can eat everything ! here. Bowls, sides, desserts. Affordable for how fresh, healthy, and delicious it is. Gotta love somewhere where you can get a bowl with perfectly fried plantains. “This place is awesome! The fries and the stuff! (Even though I don’t like the smell of the ketchup, I like everything else.)” —the 7-year-old “(I do like the ketchup!)” —the 36-year-old We’ll be back next time we’re in town!

Ok, so this was hands down the BEST gluten free bun AND burger combo I have ever had. I'm visiting from FL and staying nearby. When I found hopdaddy I was so excited, they offer all of their burgers on gluten free buns. I ordered the Magic Shroom burger on a gluten free bun. It also has goat cheese which I prefer over regular dairy products. So good!!! I also loved the sweet potato fries, salted perfectly.

Being celiac, I blame myself for believing that a Mac and Cheese place that offers a gluten free alternative could be for real. Don’t be fooled by their ‘GF available’ option, either the sauce was made with flour, or they reused the water to boil the pasta, but I had the worst gluten experience of my life. It was way beyond cross contamination. I agree that the food was delicious, but I would not risk it being are celiac or gluten intolerant, I regretted it deeply. The restaurant agreed to reimburse my plate and ‘look at the kitchen footage’… one week later and I am still waiting for the refund and never heard about their conclusion. I would not brand this place GF unless they change to a dedicated kitchen. To end the night on an even lower note, although not the restaurant’s fault, our car got broken into, parked right outside the restaurant.

Went here to celebrate a family birthday, with everyone eating gluten-free. Disappointed there was no gluten-free beer available. The mozzarella cheese fries appetizer took half an hour, and was strange—odd presentation with way too much cheese (it looked like cheese pie—which okay, who doesn’t love more cheese? but visually, it was unappetizing, not browned or bubbly, just a slab of melted cheese) and underneath, the fries were barely cooked. When we mentioned it to the server, she didn’t apologize or make it right—she told us the fries are baked that way in the oven since they don’t have a dedicated gluten-free fryer, and they end up undercooked. Okay….Our pizza was good, but not enough sauce, and the sausage was crumbled instead of bite-sized pieces. The gluten-free vegan lasagna was delicious! But the slow service (it wasn’t crowded, but every step of service was slow) and “sucks to be gluten-free” attitude of the server and cook were disappointing. And the ‘80s pop music all night was not our thing.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! I have celiacs disease (gluten free) and they go above and beyond to ensure there is no cross contamination. The food is amazing and the service is awesome. We had Hailey as our server and she was kind, sweet, and attentive. We come from Phoenix a few times a year just to eat here. Love it!
