I absolutely love this restaurant. When we go to savannah and want something quick and healthy, we stop by SHUK. To me, the restaurant isn't expensive at all ($15.00 approx) for food that will benefit you in the long run. ( I mean, have you seen the prices at cava. You will definitely spend more at cava) . The lattes are pretty good made with simple ingredients ( I just wish it were served a little hotter, especially on cold days), but nevertheless, still a good latte. I totally recommend this restaurant to anyone with dietary restrictions ( dairy alternatives and gluten-free options are available. I'm not sure if someone with celiac would be safe here, but I'm sure the friendly staff can help you navigate through the menu with no problem) If you prefer your food on the salty side, the restaurant provides salt and pepper shakers for customers. I think the balance of sharwama seasoning and pickled onions taste just fine with no extra salt needed. Also, if you are a sauce person, try the amba sauce with your food. I gave this restaurant 5 stars through and through.

Delicious vegan and gluten-free dinner! Falafel bowl, fries, mango margarita and finished with Halvah bites. Everything tasted fresh, dessert not too sweet and the drink was perfectly balanced. Bonus: live music! We sat outside and listened to the beautiful voice of singer and guitarist Cyril Durant. It was the perfect setting for a rainy Thursday night!
