If you’re looking to for unique, high quality Thai food - try this place. We were expecting a classic American Thai spot where we could order pad Thai etc - this place is not that- but we got so excited by the menu and ordered a handful of things. I would 100% recommend the Yum Som salad, Khao Mok Gai (chicken entree), Spicy Red Wine Tamarind Duck, and Taro Crème Brûlée (dairy and gluten free and amazing!). Looking forward to our next visit 😊

Mind Blown! Six Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Siam Umami was the best Thai food my group has ever experienced, and it’s unlike any Thai food presentation we’ve ever seen. The flavors are on another level. We ate family style and every hand crafted drink, side, appetizer, and main was phenomenal. My group is still talking about the next time we get to enjoy Siam Umami again. Chef/Owner Tong and front of house Harold were both delightful and they took great care of our vegan and gluten free requests. The entire dining service was on point. What a pleasant discovery in this South Portland neighborhood. Bravo Siam Umami… Bravo 👏 .
