Expect to be magically whisked away to another era. The Silver Fountain Inn Tea Parlor beautifully blends a richly decorated historic setting and the leisurely pleasure of Afternoon Tea together in one enjoyable experience. We had the Duchess Afternoon Tea service yesterday and it was wonderful in every way--from the warm service from the owner Pam, the serene and historic setting, the food, the desserts and especially the custom tea blends it was a hit from start to finish. My friend and I had two food preferences - she is vegetarian and I'm gluten free and we were treated like royalty and felt so welcomed and well cared for. My gluten free gingerbread scone was one of the best scones I've ever had. I've been gluten free for 8 years and it's a bit disheartening when I go to restaurants as everyone else enjoys their warm bread and desserts while I get carrot sticks or ice cream as an afterthought, but the menu at Silver Fountain goes above and beyond. And when an inn goes to such lengths to make sure everyone is so well cared for like this it warms my heart. Pam gets it! And everyone can enjoy gluten free too - so it's a win-win. Applause, applause!! The owners custom tea blends were great too. We tried the Silver Fountain Inn Signature blend tea and the jasmine green tea. There are many types of tables to enjoy from cozy two person tables to banquet style. I cannot wait to return with my family who also love afternoon tea. It's a gem! Highly recommend for any occasion!

I have visited the Silver Fountain Inn many times, across all seasons and winter might be one of my favorites. The inn is so whimsical when there is snow on the ground. It just adds to the charm and character that every inch of the inn exudes! I love that the original charm is in intact. There is a time and place for all the contemporary/modern flare, but this just isn't it! The staff is always friendly and accommodating and clearly know the area well, which comes in handy for entertainment/dining recommendations! However, if you have a chance to enjoy lunch in the tea parlor - DO IT! I have Celiac disease and their gluten free options are wonderful. The menu is always so unique and the whole experience of tea is just magical and SO relaxing. Thank you to Pam and Jim (the owners) for taking such pride in their work. It shows. See you in the spring!
