Sirenetta - Restaurant & Banquet

For a family event, we went opting for an aperitif. Definitely a beautiful and suggestive location. The welcome inside the place was really poor, you were not looked after, you didn't know where to go. The table service was terrible: first of all the waitress dropped about twenty spritz, which greatly extended the wait to be served. The wait for the food was interminable, and then they were served disjointedly, half the table was eating, the other half was watching, this meant that the subsequent platters arrived bare of food, just to give the illusion of eating. There were also two people at the table with special needs: a celiac and a vegan. The celiac only ate a salad with a little pink sauce. The vegan a norma overcooked and inedible. The price for this terrifying experience was truly disproportionate, a disgrace. Terrible place, absolutely not recommended.

Unfortunately my experience at La Sirenetta restaurant was disappointing. Being celiac, I asked about the possibility of having a gluten-free drink. To my amazement, the staff didn't even know what "gluten-free" meant. This demonstrates a lack of preparation and attention to the needs of customers with dietary restrictions. In an era where food intolerances are increasingly widespread, it is essential that a restaurant is informed and able to offer safe options for everyone. I cannot recommend La Sirenetta to anyone who needs special attention regarding their diet.
