Snapper Rocks

At the recommendation of a friend we went to Snapper Rocks as a group of 6. I had previously checked out the menu and could see there was quite a variety of options including sea food and kids options. I am coeliac and there were lots of choices for me. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed sharing 3 small plates with my husband: prawns, crocodile and fish. The kids enjoyed their kids meals and our friends had lamb and laksa which they said was delicious. Overall a very pleasant evening with great food and atmosphere.

Was assured the meals with GF are gluten free. Checked twice and have since found out that they are in fact not. We even checked twice to ensure that the flatbread was gluten-free and were told yes after staff checked with the kitchen. Have now been told that they are not and never were. Poor form putting some peoples lives literally in danger. It's a shame as the food tasted great.
